About This Dog/puppy Tiny little Goldie Hawn was dumped on the City Streets in Bakersfield to fend for her own. Luckily a concerned citizen picked her and and took her home. problem was, he was leaving this tiny puppy outside in a yard. so a friend intervened and called us to take Goldie. We fattened her up on goat milk, removed the fleas she was infested with and bathed her and gave her a warm loving Foster home for a couple weeks, then she came up here to Washington to hang out with puppies her own age at the the rescue. Goldie is the sweetest, most loving puppy you could ask for. she is a cuddler, very playful, very interested in her humans and what is going on. she does want to be involved and be where her people are. she sleeps close at nite to stay warm and wakes you like an alrm clok in the morning for cuddles before breakfast and work Goldie is a very self confident little girl. She is very communicative and will tell you when she is hungry and when she needs to go potty and you had better take notice LOL. Goldie loves having Playmates and we would like to see her go to a home with a youngish dog she can be companions with or even be adopted with one of her buddies here. Because Goldie is currently small, we are recommending a home with no kids under 12 so she is not dropped and hurt. Adoption Adopting a Dog requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Goldie will be an awesome addition to a family that can give her the attention, exercise, training and affection she deserves. Our passion is to bring people and pets together. Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them. We strive to match our dog's needs and personality to the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter. We believe this is a crucial component of the process and will help ensure a life-long relationship. Our primary focus is on small mixed breeds, moms and puppies of small and large breeds, although we do occasionally take in larger dogs. We work collaboratively with shelters, other rescue groups, and individuals, both locally and in California.. We have a few local fosters and seek to increase our foster base in order to save more lives Come Meet Our Pets...We have a home based operation on Acreage in Arlington and Our dogs are placed in foster homes around the greater Seattle/I-5 Corridor North to Arlington area where they receive socialization and training while they await adoption. Our Adoption Process...Since we have a small facility on gated acreage, we are unable to stay open to anyone who wishes to come visit. To facilitate successful adoptions we ask interested people and families to fill out an application for the dog or dogs they may be interested in. We screen the applications and then speak with the interested party by phone. If it looks like a good match can be made, we pre-approve the applicant and set an appointment for a meet and greet with the dogs at out facility or with the fosters who have the dogs in their care. We continue the interview in person and make sure the dog and family are a good fit.More about Goldie Hawn, A 10 week Taco PuppyGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Somewhat vocal, Requires a yard, Likes to play with toys, Likes to be in your lap, Apartment OK, Playful, Affectionate, Eager To Please, Intelligent, Gentle, Goofy, Needs a companion animal
