Chips, A senior JRT- Rat Terrier needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Chips Chips is a very sweet and active male, neutered Rat Terrier mix rescued from a Euthanasia list. Chips is a smart and friendly guy, very alert, active boy who loves to go for walks and car rides, loves to have the area behind his ears and his neck scratched. he is super attentive and wants to be where his people are. This little man has a lot of life in him and he will make a fabulous companion. he is great with other dogs and all people. He has a good appetite and is a perfect weight at 9lbs. He is being fed a human grade raw diet which he should be kept on for optimum health. Chip came to us a little stiff with arthritis which having spent 2 months on cold concrete likely worsened. Chip is on horse supplements for his joints and muscles and after only 5 days of feeding, he was walking easier and exploring longer when outdoors. It is still too cold for his California bones so he wears a sweater most times. Chips eyes are clear. Chips had his teeth cleaned, anal glands expressed, is up to date on all vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Chips adoption fee is 295.00 or for seniors 60 or older, that are approved to adopt, we have a senior for seniors program. Program fees are $100.00/dog
