Tami

Tami is a sweet if shy Rat Terrier-Jack Russell mix.

Tami loves attention and laps. She loves her daily walks and will jump in the car to go with you on an adventure for a walk on the beach or a nice park.

We are seeking a quieter home for her without children and with small dog savvy folks, who have the time to give her. Perhaps a work from home person, or retired. Tami will also do well with another small breed, dog-friendly dog. Tami is currently in a foster home where she has had a professional trainer work with her to help her through her fears. She has become more self-confident and is a happy little girl.

If you have patience and love to spare, and want a sweet girl who will warm up with trust and love and be a loyal BFF, this is your girl

Healthy dogs:   As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescued animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life.

Adoption Fees

Adoption fee is 495.00.  This covers transport from California to Washington, to the rescue facility, adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming, parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam, microchip and any extra medical attention a dog may require such as dental, anal gland expression, emergency medical care.      Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs.

A dopting a Dog requires a lot of work and is a commitment!  Tami will be an awesome addition to a family that can give him the attention, exercise, training, and affection he deserves.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION:

1) These dogs are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

2) We give preference to applicants with prior small breed knowledge/ experiences.

3) Secure visible fencing required.

Health: Tami has been fixed, microchipped, current on DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. she has been wormed and flea treated, tested negative for heartworm.

History: Tami was pregnant and out of time at the shelter, Rompin Paws Rescue was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs RPR pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington State Law.

Adoption:   If you think you have room in your home and heart for Tami, please go to our website:  http://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/

About Rompin Paws Rescue

Rompin Paws Rescue is a licensed, non-profit organization working towards our 501C3, specializing in rescuing moms to be, moms with puppies, puppies without moms and other Death Row dogs. We are located in Western Washington State.   Our passion is to bring people and pets together.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have a home based operation on Acreage in Arlington and  Our dogs are placed in foster homes around the greater Seattle/I-5 Corridor North to Arlington area where they receive socialization and training while they await adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Since we have a small facility on gated acreage, we are unable to stay open to anyone who wishes to come visit. To facilitate successful adoptions we ask interested people and families to fill out an application for the dog or dogs they may be interested in. We screen the applications and then speak with the interested party by phone. If it looks like a good match can be made, we pre-approve the applicant and set an appointment for a meet and greet with the dogs at out facility or with the fosters who have the dogs in their care. we continue the interview in person and make sure the dog and family are a good fit.    http://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/
