Poodle (unknown type) / Mixed : : Male : : Adult : : Small
BILLY Billy is a sweet loving Poodle mix boy, with a soft coat of curly fur, and a curled tail. Billy is approx 1.5 years of age. Bill is Approx. 15 lbs and was found living under a car. He stayed there for 2 weeks, during an intense heat wave that went over 110 degrees, while the finder fed and watered him and searched for his owner. Given that he had a mass on his face (it has been removed) he may have been dumped by his owners. Billy is thrilled to be in cooler Washington. Billy seems to love grass and playing in the yard with his new doggie buddies in foster care. he loves attention, a good lap, good food and being talked too. he is only 15 lbs but has a tall leaner build. He is just the gentlest, sweetest boy we have met in awhile. Even though we have not tested him with cats, he has a softness and loves everyone and everything he meets, so may do well with cats. Billy may be Ok as an only dog, but he really loves to play with other dogs and has taken to a 12 year old JRT/Rat terrier named Mr. Chips. Chips is smitten with Billy and they have been chillin together in foster care. Billy would do well to have a dog companion. he also really loves his humans, so someone who works from home is a plus, or has overlapping schedules. he is not fond of being left alone, which is understandable if he were dumped. Billy has an adoption fee of $550.00. he is neutered, up to date, microchipped and had a mass removed. he is healthy, happy and being fed a Human Grade dehydrated raw diet. Healthy dogs: As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescue animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life. Adoption Fees Adoption fee is $550.00. This covers transport from California to Washington, to the rescue facility, adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming, parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam, microchip and any extra medical attention a dog may require such as dental, anal gland expression, emergency medical care. Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs.

Rompin Paws Rescue is a licensed, non-profit organization working towards our 501C3, specializing in rescuing moms to be, moms with puppies, puppies without moms and other Death Row dogs. We are located in Western Washington State.
Our passion is to bring people and pets together.
Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them.
We strive to match our dog's needs and personality to the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter. We believe this is a crucial component of the process and will help ensure a life-long relationship. Our primary focus is on small mixed breeds, moms and puppies of small and large breeds, although we do occasionally take in larger dogs. We work collaboratively with shelters, other rescue groups, and individuals, both locally and in California.. RPR was established in April, 2015. we placed 400 dogs in our first year of operation in a small facility on Acreage in Arlington Washington. We have a few local fosters and seek to increase our foster base in order to save more lives Come Meet Our Pets...We have a home based operation on Acreage in Arlington and Our dogs are placed in foster homes around the greater Seattle/I-5 Corridor North to Arlington area where they receive socialization and training while they await adoption. Our Adoption Process...Since we have a small facility on gated acreage, we are unable to stay open to anyone who wishes to come visit. To facilitate successful adoptions we ask interested people and families to fill out an application for the dog or dogs they may be interested in. We screen the applications and then speak with the interested party by phone. If it looks like a good match can be made, we pre-approve the applicant and set an appointment for a meet and greet with the dogs at out facility or with the fosters who have the dogs in their care. we continue the interview in person and make sure the dog and family are a good fit.More about Billy, a young poodle mixGood with Dogs, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Quiet, Does Good in the Car, Requires a yard, Leashtrained, Plays fetch, Likes to play with toys, Likes to be in your lap, Apartment OK, Playful, Eager To Please, Intelligent, Even-tempered, Gentle, Goofy, Needs a companion animal
