Lola,

LOLA is 40 lbs of Love. She is every bit a puppy still, and she has love for everyone. Lola will do best with people who are home a lot and can be there to train her, guide her, give her a ton of exercise and the attention she needs and deserves.

One condition of adoption for Lola, is she be required by contract to attend Obedience school, to be the best, well behaved dog she can be. Lola spent 8 weeks in the shelter and had no training during that period. While her foster is Taking her to weekend classes, we would like the adopting family to continue her training since her former owner did not do any.  Lola learns very quickly,

and is a willing student. she is always the dog used to teach the class a new lesson because she listens so well.    Lola will need to go through all the levels and complete her certificate in the Canine Good Citizen Test.  if adopted locally, she may continue with the same trainer

Lola is eager to learn smart, focused and willing to please. she is such a great dog.  She will make an excellent hiking partner, outdoor buddy, driving partner and gets along with other dogs.  if you have another medium to larger, young dog who needs a buddy, Lola will be a great Fit!   Lola is still a puppy and has a lot of energy, she needs chewing toys, exercise and doggie buddies to play with and burn off her energy. If you have the time and energy for a wonderful 1 year old dog, this is your girl.

Adoption Fees/adoption form

 http://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/  forms

Adoption fee is $495.00 this covers transport and adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming and parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam

We bring dogs from up from California. so there are transportation costs for each dog. Then the dogs need to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, groomed, and sometimes boarded if we can't place them in a foster, or set up at the adoption facility in Arlington,  Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs.

Healthy dogs:   As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescue animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life.

Adopting a Staffordshire Puppy requires a lot of work and is a commitment!  LOLA will be an awesome addition to a family that can give her the attention, exercise, training and affection she deserves. But staffies require training in several levels of courses and need to obtain the canine good Citizen certificate for their own safety.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:

1) These puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are kept inside the home.

2)Lola will need a companion animal who is dog savvy and dog friendly or she can be an only dog if kept well socialized.  staffies need constant socializing to keep them friendly towards other dogs

3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 6-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.

4) We give preference to applicants with prior Staffordshire Terrier breed knowledge/ experiences.

5) Secure visible fencing required.

6) You must have plan in place to socialize your puppy properly.  Stadffordshires must be enrolled in obedience school. we will not release a staffie puppy for adoption without proof of enrollment

7) Please do NOT write us and ask if this puppy is available. If it is posted, it is available. BUT, we may be working other applications that came in before yours. If so, by the time you are approved, the puppy may not be available.

8) The FASTEST way to be considered for a puppy is to fill out an application. If you write, it will delay your application and put you to the back of the line. All the persons processing applications are volunteers that have their own dogs, families and job responsibilities. We do our best to get applications done quickly but applications for adult dogs come before puppy applications. There is always someone that will want to adopt a puppy.

Health:   Lola has  been spayed,  she is microchipped, current on DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has been wormed and flea treated.

History:   LOLa was rescued from a high kill shelter where most bully breeds are killed. Rompin Paws Rescue was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs RPR pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state Law.

Adoption:    If you think you have room in your home and heart for Lola, please go to our website:  http://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms

There you will find more information and be able to fill out an adoption application.

About Rompin Paws Rescue

Rompin Paws Rescue is a licensed, non-profit organization working towards our 501C3, specializing in rescuing moms to be, moms with puppies, puppies without moms and other Death Row dogs. We are located in Western Washington State.

Our passion is to bring people and pets together.      Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them.

We strive to match our dog's needs and personality to the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter. We believe this is a crucial component of the process and will help ensure a life-long relationship.

Our primary focus is on small mixed breeds, moms and puppies of small and large breeds, although we do occasionally take in larger dogs. We work collaboratively with shelters, other rescue groups, and individuals, both locally and in California..

RPR was established in April, 2015. we placed 400 dogs in our first year of operation in a small facility on Acreage in Arlington Washington.

We have a few local fosters and seek to increase our foster base in order to save more lives

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have a home based operation on Acreage in Arlington and      Our dogs are placed in foster homes around the greater Seattle/I-5 Corridor North to Arlington area where they receive socialization and training while they await adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Since we have a small facility on gated acreage, we are unable to stay open to anyone who wishes to come visit. To facilitate successful adoptions we ask interested people and families to fill out an application for the dog or dogs they may be interested in. We screen the applications and then speak with the interested party by phone. If it looks like a good match can be made, we pre-approve the applicant and set an appointment for a meet and greet with the dogs at out facility or with the fosters who have the dogs in their care. we continue the interview in person and make sure the dog and family are a good fit.
