Lady,
Lady is a very sweet, albeit shy, Pembroke Welsh Corgi mix girl weighing approx. 16 pounds. Lady is super loving and very much a lap dog, she is just shy to start and warms up with trust
Lady is a gorgeous red brown with a stripe of white on her neck and a white chest. she is super soft, loves to roll on her back for a belly rub and cuddle close. she has come along way from the scared girl she was and has built confidence in her foster home and loves to be cuddled and loved on. Lady enjoys running with her doggie friends in the back yard and soaking up the suns rays.
Lady is in a wonderful foster home close to the rescue, resting after weaning her puppies. she does not yet know, what a leash or harness are, so she will need to be shown these gently and over time. it may be awhile before she will go on walks, but she is a gentle and curious soul so she should be easy to train.
Lady needs a quieter home , with loving, devoted humans who will provide her with a safe environment where she can thrive. A child free home is best. Lady does well with dogs her own size, as she is afraid of large dogs. Lady Adores her puppies and she may be adopted with one for companionship, if you prefer two dogs. Lady is a sweet and gentle soul who just needs a family to love her unconditionally and she will thrive and love her humans in kind.
Adoption Fees
Adoption fee is 495.00 this covers transport from california, adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming and parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam, spay/neuter, etc...
Adopting a Dog requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Lady will be an awesome addition to a family that can give her the attention, exercise, training and affection she deserves.
Healthy dogs: As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescue animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life.
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR DOG ADOPTION:
1) These dogs are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.
2) We give preference to applicants with prior small breed knowledge/ experiences.
3) Secure visible fencing required.
4) You must have plan in place to socialize your dog properly.
5) Please do NOT write us and ask if this dog is available. If it is posted, it is available. BUT, we may be working other applications that came in before yours. If so, by the time you are approved, the dog may not be available.
8) The FASTEST way to be considered for a dog is to fill out an application. If you write, it will delay your application and put you to the back of the line. All the persons processing applications are volunteers that have their own dogs, families and job responsibilities. We do our best to get applications done quickly but applications for adult dogs come before puppy applications. There is always someone that will want to adopt a puppy.
Health: Lady has been spayed , she is microchipped, current on DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies, wormed and flea treated, tested negative for heartworm and Parvo
History: Lady was dumped in overcrowded shelter in California. Rompin Paws Rescue was asked to help to rescue her so she could deliver her puppies in safety and hiopefully find a forever family to love her. All dogs RPR pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state Law.

We bring dogs from up from California. so there are transportation costs for each dog. Then the dogs need to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, groomed, and sometimes boarded if we can't place them in a foster, or set up at the adoption facility in Arlington, Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs.

Our passion is to bring people and pets together. Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them.
We strive to match our dog's needs and personality to the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter. We believe this is a crucial component of the process and will help ensure a life-long relationship.
Our primary focus is on small mixed breeds, moms and puppies of small and large breeds, although we do occasionally take in larger dogs. We work collaboratively with shelters, other rescue groups, and individuals, both locally and in California..
RPR was established in April, 2015. we placed 400 dogs in our first year of operation in a small facility on Acreage in Arlington Washington.
We have a few local fosters and seek to increase our foster base in order to save more lives
Come Meet Our Pets...
We have a home based operation on Acreage in Arlington and Our dogs are placed in foster homes around the greater Seattle/I-5 Corridor North to Arlington area where they receive socialization and training while they await adoption.Our Adoption Process...
Since we have a small facility on gated acreage, we are unable to stay open to anyone who wishes to come visit. To facilitate successful adoptions we ask interested people and families to fill out an application for the dog or dogs they may be interested in. We screen the applications and then speak with the interested party by phone. If it looks like a good match can be made, we pre-approve the applicant and set an appointment for a meet and greet with the dogs at out facility or with the fosters who have the dogs in their care. we continue the interview in person and make sure the dog and faMore about Lady A Pembroke Welsh Corgi mix
All Animals are current on Vaccinations, spayed or neutered if age appropriate, microchipped, dewormed, deflea if required, General wellness exams (with health certificates if brought in from out of state).
