COAST Coast is a 5 year old Pomeranian-Spaniel mix, rescued from an overcrowded California shelter. This boy is friendly and loving and truly needs people who will give him attention, walk him and shower him with love. No children please as he came from a noisy environment and it overwhelmed him. So a quieter home with folks who will walk him and love him. he would make an excellent RV travel dog and he loves to explore. Coast will need people willing to brush him daily to keep his fur in best shape. He is 13 lbs, neutered, up to date, has had his teeth cleaned and is ready for a loving, caring home. The person who relinquished him stated they kept him outdoors ALL day and he hardly had human contact, except at nite, because of a crazy, loud environment. If you can give Coast a home, apply soon as we don't expect him to be here long. Healthy dogs: As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescue animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life. Adoption fee is $550.00. This covers transport from California to Washington, to the rescue facility, adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming, parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam, microchip and any extra medical attention a dog may require such as dental, anal gland expression, emergency medical care. Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs.
