Chanel Chanel is a sweet, young, one-year-old, 8lb Maltipoo dog seeking her furever family . Chanel was rescued from the streets of Bakersfield California where she was found as a stray. Because of her alone time surviving on the streets, she will do best with someone who works from home, can take a dog to work, will place her in doggie daycare , or has overlapping shifts with a partner. Chanel likes to be with her human and will need someone who can spend a lot of time with her. Chanel also really loves other dogs and will fare best with a doggie companion. if you have a small, younger, playful dog in need of a companion, Chanel would love to have a playmate. Chanel is spayed, UTD with vaccines, Great with all humans, playful and very friendly. We have included a video to give you a sense of her personality. Chanel is a healthy , playful, full of energy and adventurous little girl. Chanel likes her walks and regular exercise, she will need someone who will take her for 1-2 daily walks, and romps in parks or on trails on occasion. Once Chanel is with her adoptive family, she will need a couple weeks to adjust to her new environment until she is familiar with her new people and home, then she settles in like she has been with you her whole life. Healthy dogs: As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescued animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life. Adoption fee is $550.00. This covers transport from California to Washington, to the rescue facility, adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming, parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam, microchip and any extra medical attention a dog may require such as dental, anal gland expression, emergency medical care. Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs. Adopting a Dog requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Chanel will be an awesome addition to a family that can give him the attention, exercise, training, and affection he deserves. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: 1) We give preference to applicants with prior small breed knowledge/ experiences. 2) Secure visible fencing required. 3) You must have a plan in place to socialize your puppy properly. 4) Please do NOT write us and ask if this puppy is available. If it is posted, it is available. BUT, we may be working other applications that came in before yours. If so, by the time you are approved, the puppy may not be available. 5) The FASTEST way to be considered for a dog is to fill out an application. If you write, it will delay your application and put you to the back of the line. All the persons processing applications are volunteers that have their own dogs, families and job responsibilities. We do our best to get applications done quickly but applications for adult dogs come before puppy applications. There is always someone that will want to adopt a puppy. Health: Chanel has been spayed, she is microchipped, current on DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed and flea treated, tested negative for heartworm and Parvo History: Chanel was dumped onto the Streets of Bakersfield, California. Rompin Paws Rescue was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs RPR pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington State Law.
