Angel, is a sweet 2-3-year-old 7 lb Maltese and Yorkie mix who came to our rescue when found after being dumped by her previous humans. angel has likely had one litter of puppies and will be spayed on March 5th. Angel is a mellow and sweet lovebug who likes to be held and cuddled. she likes to get in with her people at nite and sleep under the covers rather than in her own bed. She will do best with people who are home most of the day, or work from home as she does not like to be left alone very long. she gets along with all the small dogs in the rescue and is not afraid of the two large dogs. we have yet to see her "play" with anyone, but she could also be adjusting as everything is still new. Angel is up to date on her vaccines, tested negative for heartworm and will be spayed and have a dental cleaning on March 5th. Applications are being accepted now and meet and greet to a Pre-approved adopter, she may go home the week she is spayed. Healthy dogs: As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescue animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life. Adoption fee is 495.00. This covers transport from California to Washington, to the rescue facility, adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming, parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam, microchip and any extra medical attention a dog may require such as dental, anal gland expression, emergency medical care. Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs.
