OLIVER (Ollie)

Oliver is a wonderful, gentle soul of a boy. he is super sweet, inquisitive and a gentle lap dog. Ollie loves exploring and going for walks, being brushed and generally enjoying life. Though he was found wandering on a street, he seems to love everyone and gets along with all dogs

Oliver  is microchipped, neutered, newly groomed and has had a full dental. he looks and acts like a new dog. Oliver is in foster care. his favorite things are to climb the cat tree to hang out with the cat and to sit on the porch and soak up the suns rays.

Oliver's foster took him to daycare this week to see how he would do, HE LOVED IT!!  He was seen in a shared video running around chasing dogs his size and taking a nap on one of the comfortable cots with several other tired out pooches.

Oliver is now in a wonderful foster home waiting for his Forever family to come and carry him home. He is a happy go lucky boy. If you have a dog who needs a buddy or just love the Yorkie breed, Oliver is waiting to meet you.    Oliver seems to need a friend, either a cat or another small breed, dog friendly pup to be BFF's with. 

Ollie has an adoption fee of $550.00

Healthy dogs:  As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescued animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life.

Adoption fee is $495.00.  This covers transport from California to Washington, to the rescue facility, adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming, parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam, microchip and any extra medical attention a dog may require such as dental, anal gland expression, emergency medical care.   Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs.

 

Adopting a Dog requires  a lot of work and is a commitment!  -- will be an awesome addition to a family that can give him the attention, exercise, training, and affection he deserves.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 

1) Please do not apply for a dog if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.

2) We give preference to applicants with prior small breed knowledge/ experiences.

3) Secure visible fencing required.

4) You must have a plan in place to socialize your dog properly.

7) Please do NOT write us and ask if this dog is available. If it is posted, it is available. BUT, we may be working other applications that came in before yours. If so, by the time you are approved, the puppy may not be available. 

8) The FASTEST way to be considered for a dog is to fill out an application. If you write, it will delay your application and put you to the back of the line. All the persons processing applications are volunteers that have their own dogs, families and job responsibilities. We do our best to get applications done quickly but applications for adult dogs come before puppy applications. There is always someone that will want to adopt a puppy.

Health:  Ollie  has been Neutered, he is microchipped, current on DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed and flea treated, tested negative for heartworm and Parvo

History:   Rompin Paws Rescue was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs RPR pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington State Law.

We bring dogs from up from California. so there are transportation costs for each dog. Then the dogs need to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, groomed, and sometimes boarded if we can't place them in a foster, or set up at the adoption facility in Arlington,
