SKYE

Beautiful Skye is an 18-month-old Great Dane-Hound Mix female who was dumped unceremoniously at a High kill shelter in Stockton California.    Skye is an athletic, compact, muscular 67 lb girl. She would do best on acreage, land, house with huge yard for play and as a hiking buddy. If you are seeking a dog you can take everywhere, this is your girl!!

Skye is very human-oriented and will follow her person everywhere. She loves to be close, go for walks and car rides and explore the yard and urban neighborhood, or acreage if you have some. She will be great for an active couple or individual. She has alot of personality and love. With a little time and Patience, she will blossom and be an awesome go everywhere dog. 

SKYE needs a pet free home. Definitely no cats.  She is sometimes Ok with dogs, and sometimes not. She is not overtly aggressive but rather is possessive of her human and does not want to share with any other pets.  We are recommending she be an only dog.  

Skye is super loving, adoring and loyal. she will be excellent for a work from home person, as she will sit near you at your desk and just be happy to keep you company.   Skye loves chest massages and being talked to. She listens intently as though she understands everything you are saying. she speaks with her eyes. when she wants to connect or let you know she is listening, she will place her paw on your arm.

Skye has incredible potential and just needs someone to show her humans are good that she is loved and will never be abandoned again, and she will be the most loyal BFF ever!!
