Tiddlywinks and her 3 siblings were dumped at the intersection of 2 county roads and had been there at least for a full day if not longer. A deputy, who was called out for a large livestock ‘out’ call saw them in the mix of livestock. He called AFAC to ask if we could take them. They were immediately accepted and were taken in for their first vetting later that day. They were scared, covered in fleas and so hungry and thirsty as they were drinking dirty water in the ditch where they could find it. Tiddly Winks is social and playful now after a few days of good food, love & care. She is the smallest, but that doesn’t stop her! Tiddly is all puppy and adorable energy. She loves playing with her new toys, new friends, and cuddling! She loves laying belly up in your arms and will fall fast asleep quickly! Owners will need to be homeowners who have spacious yards, are active people as these are medium-high energy breed dogs. We prefer Dog savvy adopters or large breed adopters who have spent time training their past dogs and are medium level to experienced level dog owners. Tiddlywinks will need to be enrolled in a professional obedience class as part of the adoption contract.

We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life. Adoption fee is $550.00. This covers transport from Texas to Washington, to the rescue facility, adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming, parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam, microchip and any extra medical attention a dog may require such as dental, anal gland expression, emergency medical care. Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs. Adopting a Dog requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Beanie Bioy will be an awesome addition to a family that can give him the attention, exercise, training, and affection he deserves. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) These puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. 2) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps to integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy. 4) We give preference to applicants with prior large breed knowledge/ experiences. 5) Secure visible fencing required.
