Peter, is a sweet loving dog who was rescued off the hot 106-degree streets of Bakersfield with his buddy Chloe after rescuers spent two weeks trying to catch them. Peter is a happy go lucky boy who seems to Be a corgi-Beagle mix with maybe one or two more breeds. a True lovable Mutt! Peter really like female dogs and is not so hot on Males. He loves to play, go for walks and to the small dog park, take rides, eat ice cream and be your special boy. Peter loves to cuddle and roll over for belly rubs. Kids stress Peter out and he needs a no child home and one without visiting children. Peter is sweet, adventurous, loving and so so happy to be safe and well fed. He is shy to start and needs a little time to adjust in his new home and to settle in. He has been somewhat trained but would really benefit from being taken to professional dog training classes as he is smart, listens well and wants to learn. Peter is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, healthy and ready to settle down with his people furever. Peter is on a Human Grade diet (www.thehonestkitchen.com) and we would like him to continue this level or better quality food for his health and longevity. Peter has an adoption fee of $495.00 which covers all his medical care, neuter, and microchip. All monies are recycled to save more dogs.
