About Fritz, a Dachshund-Cocker Spaniel Mix | |

|
Fritz,
is a Handsome 6-8-year-old Dachshund mix boy who was pulled off death row along with 41 other dogs in a mass rescue at a very rural California shelter. Fritz is thrilled to be alive and free and shows us every day by showering us with kisses and love and a million happy tail wags.
Fritz came to us covered in ticks and fleas and exhibiting a flea allergy with fur loss on his back end. the fleas and ticks are gone. We have switched Frtiz to a Human Grade Diet (www.Thehonestkitchen.com) and he loves it!! Daily applications of coconut oil to his back end have cleared his skin up nicely and the fur will start to regrow here soon.
Fritz is a super loving guy. He will make an excellent lap dog for the right people. He gets along with every dog he has met here at the rescue and will likely do best with small dogs if you have one needing a buddy. Fritz's foster also has rescue kittens in the house and Fritz will hang out with them and kiss them sweetly, so he is very gentle with cats.
Fritz will do best with people who have time for him, like retirees who are active but will let him just be himself and be close to you, or someone who works from home.

Healthy dogs: As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescued animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life.
Adoption fee is $495.00. Adoption fee includes Neuter, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, Bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heartworm testing. 1 00% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we “Save it forward”; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs.
A dopting a Dog requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Fritz will be an awesome addition to a family that can give him the attention, exercise, training, and affection he deserves.

We bring dogs from up from California. so there are transportation costs for each dog. Then the dogs need to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, groomed, and sometimes boarded if we can't place them in a foster, or set up at the adoption facility in Arlington,
