Rompin Paws Rescue Presents...

KALEB  is a very sweet, shy, cautious boy rescued with 14 other dogs from a rural California shelter that receives very few adopters due to location.  Kaleb was very scared in his cage at the shelter, and when we first rescued him. He has opened up immensely and will continue to blossom with the right family.  Kaleb is so Happy to be free he shows his joy every day. You will get a lot of tail wagging out of this lovely pup.

Kaleb is still shy and getting used to being free and safe. he will need adopters who will have Patience and kindness and are dog savvy. He is sweet and will make a very loyal companion.  Kaleb is in foster care and does really well with the fosters same size dog. He is not super playful, but really enjoys having a dog companion. At the dog park, Kaleb is drawn to older children and will run to greet them.   Kaleb seems to like all the little dogs she meets but is a bit scared of larger dogs. He is shy to start and warms up with trust. Kaleb is estimated to be between 3.5 and 5 years of age. Quote from his foster

Healthy dogs:   As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescued animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life.

Adoption fee is $550.00.  Adoption fee includes- Neuter, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, Bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heartworm testing.      1   00% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we “Save it forward”; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs.

A dopting a Dog requires   a lot of work and is a commitment!  Kaleb will be an awesome addition to a family that can give him the attention, exercise, training, and affection he deserves.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 

1) These dogs are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

2) We give preference to applicants with prior small breed knowledge/ experiences.

3) Secure visible fencing required.

4) You must have a plan in place to socialize your puppy properly.

5) Please do NOT write us and ask if this dog is available. If it is posted, it is available. BUT, we may be working on other applications that came in before yours. If so, by the time you are approved, the puppy may not be available. 

6) The FASTEST way to be considered for a puppy is to fill out an application. If you write, it will delay your application and put you to the back of the line. All the persons processing applications are volunteers that have their own dogs, families and job responsibilities. We do our best to get applications done quickly but applications for adult dogs come before puppy applications. There is always someone that will want to adopt a puppy.

Health:   Kaleb  has been neutered,  he is microchipped, current on DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed and flea treated, tested negative for heartworm and Parvo

History:   Kaleb was placed on a kill list due to overcrowding at the shelter. Rompin Paws Rescue was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs RPR pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington State Law.

We bring dogs from up from California. so there are transportation costs for each dog. Then the dogs need to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, groomed, and sometimes boarded if we can't place them in a foster, or set up at the adoption facility in Arlington, 

All Animals are current on Vaccinations, spayed or neutered if age appropriate, microchipped, dewormed, deflea if required, General wellness exams (with health certificates if brought in from out of state).
