Billie Is a precious little six-pound little dude, with a shiny coat and soft silky short fur who is the ultimate lap dog. He arrived with his Brother Joey as they were relinquished by their owners and we stepped in to keep them out of the shelter. Billie is slightly shy but curious to start then warms up really well and is a snuggle bug. Billie prefers to be a part of a dog pack or at least have one little buddy for companionship. He would do fine as an only dog if his humans are retired or work from home or can spend a ton of time with him. If adopters work he will need a companion(s) for friendship, mentoring and to be happy. Billie is up to date, neutered, and approx 10 months of age . He is young but calm and more lapdog than an energetic puppy. he does enjoy hanging out in the sunshine. We do not know if he is leashed trained but we are guessing not given his home environment we rescued him from, so he will need to be trained to a harness and lead.
