Jewel, Is a sweet 11-month-old Corgi mix puppy rescued off a euthanasia list in a Texas High Kill shelter then sat in a rescue for 2 months un-adopted because Texas has too many dogs. Jewel is now with Rompin Paws Rescue where she has a chance of finding an awesome family to love her. Jewel is playful and smart. she will learn new things quickly. she is currently 18 pounds and may top out in the 20-pound range. She is lithe, muscular, athletic and will make an excellent trail or hiking buddy, beachcombing companion or any little outdoor adventure you can dream up to share together. Jewel likes the puppy pool at her fosters home so may do well swimming in a pond or playing in the waves on a beach. Jewel likes other playful friendly dogs and will do best with a companion. If you have a dog-friendly buddy who needs a young playmate and BFF, and If you are looking for a young companion and have the time and commitment to spend with Jewel, give us a holler. Jewel is on a Human grade diet for her health and longevity and we would like to see her stay on this high-grade diet for life.
