Rita  was a 5-week old chi dumped at the Stanislaus shelter and Terri Meyers was already there pulling dogs. She took Rita to get her out so she would not get sick. she is adopted by Christine Raught in Arlington and lives with 6 other dogs on 5 acres in a huge home. daighter is Nichole a volunteer who adopted Scooby a Terrier mix.
