Precious 

Is the sweetest dog and such a love bug. Precious is so sweet and loving and gentle. she just wants a family to call her own and another dog to play and be BFF furbuddies with.

Precious was dumped with her mom and brother in the foothills of Bakersfield and alluded capture for 5 weeks until they were too weak to function and we could trap and get them to safety. 

Precious is now happy, warm, well fed and healthy. Precious is 22 pounds and approximately 1 year old. She is completely vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Precious is super cuddly, very loving and will make an excellent companion. She does have some separation anxiety from her experiences but with patience and training this can be worked through. She would make an excellent hiking partner or long walking partner.

 Precious is a stunning black and tan with the droopy dachshund like ears and the longer legs of the Manchester,  with a muscular body and athletic build.  Both breeds are very loyal to their humans and will live long lives if they are fed a good diet.  Precious is eating a Human Grade diet and we expect her adopters to continue feeding the same or better. We educate all of our adopters on diet and nutrition and supply a comprehensive care guide.  Precious will do best with a dog-friendly similar sized male dog in the home and with dog savvy owners willing tom put the time and effort into training precious. she is a willing learner, very smart and easy to teach.
