LUCY 

Is a Happy, loving girl who wants people of her own She weighs a perfect 24 pounds and is completely vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

Lucy is a very sweet and loving dog when she realizes she can trust you. She loves being one on with her  human and we think she will do best as an only dog or with a similar sized, very dog savvy dogs who can bring out her playfulness. Lucy is a stunning black and tan with the droopy ears of a Dachshund and a taught muscular body. Lucy would make an excellent hiking buddy. Lucy likes to sit in your lap and she thinks she is a 10 pound puppy. Lucy has a wonderful personality, is entertaining and very sweet.

Lucy needs a cat free home as her predator drive is too strong.

 Lucy is eating a Human Grade diet and we expect her adopters to continue feeding her the same or better. We educate all of our adopters on diet and nutrition and supply a comprehensive care guide.

These are observations from Lucy's California foster before she arrived in Washington-" Here is what I have learned about lucy in the few days I have had her. She is a little slow to trust more than one person at a time but does warm up quickly. She absolutely wants to be a lap dog or lay by your side. I have no doubt she will be loyal and protective of her owner. She is a loving and sweet dog. She has gotten along with the other dogs in the house, big and small. Lucy has lots of energy and does fairly well on a leash. She has some issue with separation anxiety but this may pass once she feels totally safe"

All Animals are current on Vaccinations, spayed or neutered if age appropriate, microchipped, dewormed, deflea if required, General wellness exams (with health certificates if brought in from out of state).
