Jake,

was dumped in a field by his humans and left to fend for himself. Animal control caught him and he ended up in a crowded shelter. we were asked to rescue him and boy are we glad we did.

Jake started out looking like a Dachshund. He has grown a bit and while he still has the very long back, he has grown taller, leading us to believe he may well have some lab in him ( and maybe a few other breeds as) We don't know exactly what Jakes breed is, but we do know he is a very special boy. Jake loves everyone and every dog he meets. He always has a wagging tail and his perfect little smile. One of his favorite things is belly rubs. Jake is very much a pack dog. He is being fostered with 6 other dogs and plays with them all. His best buddy is a white Terrier mix named Guy who would be an awesome lifelong companion with Jake, ( Guy is in the video plating with Jake) or he will need at least one young adult dog in the home for mentoring and bonding. All Rompin Paws dogs are fed a Human Grade dog food and we educate adopters on feeding, nutrition and long term care.

Jake is about 18 pounds, @ 10 months of age, neutered and up to date on all vaccines. he is ready for his furever home. Jake has an adoption fee of $495.00 or if adopted with Guy, both dogs would be $850.00 as a bonded pair.
