Chloe

is a super loving Dachshund mix girl of approx 2 years who was found in a field with 2 week old puppies. Poor Chloe had been through much and her face is covered with scars from possibly fighting off a predator to protect her puppies. She will always have the scars but that does not detract from her beautiful personality and soul. despite being dumped by her humans while pregnant she is a love bug and an awesome lap dog who loves to roll over for belly rubs and cuddles. She will sleep in the bed if you let her and crawl under the covers tucking herself in close for warmth. (that's a dachshund trait).   Chloe's puppies are now ready for adoption and so is Chloe

Chloe prefers to be women as we have just discovered she is afraid of men and children, but not women and she loves to be with 1 or more other small dogs or puppies.  Chloe is Ok being an only dog as long as she is not left alone for very long. Chloe does have separation anxiety and it will take her a while to work through that. She will need to be trained out of it, I can help the adopter with this. She would do best with retirees or folks who work from home so they can take her outside and for walks, and ease her out of her anxiety. Chloe does really well with all the dogs here in the rescue so can be adopted with other dog-friendly dogs. If you do have a dog as a companion for Chloe, this is the best. 

Chloe is very smart and even at 1.5-2 years she will learn quickly and be a very loyal companion.   Chloe is being fed a Human Grade diet. We educate our adopters on diet, nutrition and general care of your new rescue pup.

All Animals are current on Vaccinations, spayed or neutered if age appropriate, microchipped, dewormed, deflea if required, General wellness exams (with health certificates if brought in from out of state).
