Sadie Rose

is a 9-month-old Dachshund-Terrier girl who has the body of a Dachshund and the energy of a Puppy Jack Russell. She is incredibly intelligent, super playful and loving and can run and play with her foster mates for hours.

Sadie Rose and her sister Anika were pulled with 14 other dogs from an overcrowded California shelter on March 15th to save their lives. Abbey is quite happy to be free and loves running the large outdoor play space, chasing her now foster buddies all day.

Sadie Rose will benefit from doggie training at least for her basic manners, but she is very smart and will excel in agility and more advanced training courses s well. Sadie Rose has not had enough time and attention in her short life and will do best with humans who have time for her. Sadie Rose will not do well being left alone 8-10 hours a day. She would do best with someone who works from home, is retired or a stay at home person. Sadie would also do best to have a doggie playmate as she thrives with her dog friends in foster care. she needs a young adult dong to bond with, for mentoring and for play.

Sadie Rose will be spayed as part of her adoption. We will have the adopter sign an addendum to work with us on her spaying in July 2019 when she is a year old. Abbey is up to date on all vaccines, been treated for worms and Giardia and has a microchip.
