Daphne

and her buddy Eliana were dumped into a backyard and left there with no food and water after their human being passed away. We were alerted to two starving abandoned dogs and we rescued them.

 Daphne is re-building her self confidence, she is still a little insecure but has come a long way in a short time. Daphne likes to be a princess and would do fine as an only dog, she also gets along with other small, dog-friendly pups. She is incredibly loving and affectionate. We recommend she go to someone who is dog savvy so her new human will be patient and continue to help her build her confidence.  Daphne seems to be around 2 years of age.

Daphne was placed onto human grade-species specific food as soon as she was rescued. She loves the food, is thriving on it and doing well. We will educate the adopter(s) in dog nutrition.
