Francie

is a sweet, timid yet loving 9-pound snuggle bug. she will be shy until she knows she is safe and then she is miss personality who will follow you around the house and want to be in your lap whenever you are sitting.

We discovered today that she loves kids, immensely. Francie will be well with older children (10 and up) who are dog savvy. she gets very excited and will run to meet the children and show them she wants their attention.

Francie and her friend Georgia were found roaming a neighborhood after the fourth of July/earthquake combination in Bakersfield. they were posted online, with the shelter and at local found animal sites but no one claimed them. Francie is now seeking her new furever home.  she will do well with or without another dog. she may also be adopted with Georgia.

Francie is being fed a Human Grade dog food diet. we will educate the adopters on nutrition. we would like to see Francie stay on this high-quality diet for her health and longevity.
