Georgia Girl

is a sweet, timid yet loving 19-pound Cairn terrier-Dachshund pup, of about 1 year in age.  Georgia is miss personality who will follow you around the house and want to be in your lap whenever you are. Georgia was rescued after being found as  a stray who was roaming a  neighborhood after the fourth of July/earthquake combination in Bakersfield. Georgia was posted online, with the shelter and at local "found" animal sites but no one claimed her. Georgia is now seeking her new furever home.

Georgia has been tested with kids and seems to really enjoy children as we have invited many here to socialize the dogs.  Children need to be dog-savvy and very gentle with animals.  Georgia  does not like being an only dog and will need to be in a home with one or more dog-friendly, small breed pups.  She does not like being left alone so she will need an adopter who has time for her and will not leave her home 8-10 hours a day. An adopter who is semi-retired, retired, works from home, or can take Georgia to work would be ideal.  Georgia is being fed a Human Grade dog food diet. We will educate the adopters on nutrition.

Georgia has an adoption fee of $495.00. Georgia is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccines/rabies and is parasite free.   All fees are recycled to save more dogs.  To apply to adopt Georgia- http://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/
