Nugget

Is a sweet and loving little 12 pound Dachshund and Rat Terrier mix who is happy to be safe and is seeking his furever family. he greets everyone who comes to say hi and sit with him by wagging his tail and getting into their lap. he is a healthy young senior who is easting Human grade food for dogs and he loves it. he came to us just slightly overweight. we are trimming him down with walks and the healthy new diet. he will have a full dental on August 15th and will be ready for his new family

is a sweet and healthy 10-year-old senior who was dumped at a high kill shelter by his human dad after having been with him since 6 weeks of age because they "had a baby"  Rompin Paws was made aware of him 3 hours before our transport came through and ba few hours before his scheduled Euthanasia. we had a rescue friend run to the shelter and pull him.

Nugget has an adoption fee of $350.00 which will not cover his costs for transport from California or his major dental work but it will help us recover some of his expenses so we can save more senior dogs who would not make it out of the shelter otherwise.

Seniors make excellent companions because they are calm, wise, usually trained and are very grateful for a second chance. they are fircely loyal and bring great joy. Nugget has a ton of energy and is healthy. we would like his adopters to keep him on the food we are feeding him so he has a fabulously vital senior life. we provide the education you need to keep him happy and healthy.
