Chewy

is a sweet and very loving Shipoo male dog of about 10 months who was found running the streets with a friend who took off when approached and never returned. They appeared to be siblings. Chewy came to our rescue in August. We kept him in Foster care to help him acclimate, switch him over to a Human Grade food diet and have him neutered. Chewy is now up to date on vaccines as well, de-flead and treated for parasites. He will be ready for his Furever home on September 15th.

Chewy has longer fur so he will need a dedicated person willing to keep him brushed and professionally groomed so he is happy. Chewy is still a puppy, very playful, is a healthy boy, friendly and loves his daily walks. Chewy is still teething/chewing, so split antlers are a good choice to keep him happy. He needs people around all the time, he has a bit of separation anxiety

Chewy will do best in a family with older dog savvy children or with dog savvy only adults-who have time to give him. Chewy would love to have a doggie buddy, so if you have a dog or two that would love a new friend, Chewy would be in heaven.  Chewy is an indoor-only dog, who has learned to use a doggie door when his humans are home.
