BUDDY

is a Cairn Terrier-Poodle who is approx 2-2.5 years of age. He was relinquished to a California Rescue we work with that saves Jack Russells. Buddies Human Mom has a rare cancer needing emergency surgery and she will require a year of rehabilitation and is unable to care for Buddy any longer.

We are still getting to know Buddy. We have learned he is a bit shy because he is confused, but really likes being doted on and talking to. he loves to exercise and run but had gained some weight due to inactivity. We are resolving that with regular exercise and a Human grade diet for dogs. Switching him off dry food and onto "real" food has helped immensely and Buddy has trimmed down. He will continue to do so with his diet and exercise by his new people. Rompin Paws Educates our adopters about canine nutrition.

Buddy loves to cuddle, loves being talked to, walked, car rides and being close. he will need an adopter who has time for him and will not leave him alone for hours every day. examples would be a retiree, someone who works from home-even part-time, or a stay at home person...

Buddy has a $495.00 adoption fee. all his vaccines are up to date, he passed his health exam, is heartworm free and parasite-free. he will come with a microchip as well. Buddy is neutered.  All monies are recycled to save more dogs.
