Paisley, Is a very shy and cautious dog. Paisley, and her two daughters, were dumped in an apple orchard far from town and left to die. Rescue friends set traps to catch them before they ran into the busy freeway that bordered the orchard. When Paisley and her family first arrived, they were so frightened. Paisley is a lot more cautious than her daughters due to the impact of being dumped. She will need a very dog savvy, patient adopter who can help show her that people can be loving, she is safe and will be well cared for and pampered for life. Paisley is being fed Human Grade and raw dog food. she is thriving and needs to remain on this quality diet Paisley gets along with all then rescue pups and she needs a home with one or more small dogs for friends and mentoring. Paisley is also drawn to dog savvy children. If you have small dogs and well behaved, pet respectful children, 7 years and older, Paisley will be in heaven. UPDATE 4.8.20 From Paisley's foster mom: This girl is a love bug! Once she bonds to you she just wants to be close to you. She will roll over for belly rubs and follow you everywhere. When you talk to her she will come up to you smiling. Paisley enjoys going outside for walks. Mostly she likes to be doing whatever you are doing. Paisley will need someone who takes diet seriously, she does like to eat and will eat everything in sight if she is allowed to do so. Paisley is very smart and in the short amount of time in foster care she has gone from being unapproachable to a dog who seeks attention and belly rubs. Once she trusts you she is the ultimate companion. It is very sad to see she was once loved and was thrown away. Now she relishes in the love she is given with smiles and wiggles!! Paisley is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. She has an adoption fee of $595.00, which covers spay, all vaccines incl. rabies, microchip and healthcare. All monies are recycled to save more dogs. All Rompin Paws Rescue dogs are fed High-Quality Human Grade foods (never Kibble) and we will educate her adopter in Canine Nutrition.
