Francesca

is a sweet 7-year-old adult Corgi-Chihuahua mix who found herself on the shelters kill list because they are overcrowded during this crisis. Rompin Paws worked with a rescue near the shelter to save her life. Francesca is so happy to be out of the shelter, she had shut down and given up on life. As soon as she knew she was rescued, she was so thrilled and started eating again, lying in the sun and smiling. Francesca really loves living in a pack at her foster home and will need one or more small breed, dog-friendly dogs to be happy. Francesca does well with cats but needs dogs to be her pack and to hang with all day.  She will not do well to be left alone at home 8-9 hours a day. Francesca will do best with a work from home person or a retiree.

Francesca needs a human who will NEVER throw her away and be committed to her for the rest of her life. Francie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and healthy. She is being fed a Human Grade dog food diet. We will educate the adopters in canine nutrition for her health and longevity. Francesca has come to us very heavy and we are working to help her lose weight.
