Gracie, a Mexican Hairless female needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Gracie Gracie is a sweet, loving little girl who has had some hard breaks in life. Gracie is in foster care and reunited with her son and she loves being with the two dogs she is fostered with, so Gracie will need a sweet companion dog to be truly happy. Gracie also does well with dog-savvy cats but there still needs to be youngish, small-medium-sized breed buddy in the home for her. About her breed About
Gracie is seeking a home with a person who works from home or is retired and has a very active lifestyle. Gracie is used to multiple walks a day, lots of cuddling, and car trips. Gracie does much better with women as men scare her, so she will need a woman to bond with . From previous conversations with her now-deceased adopter, she did great in a golf cart. She listens well and does not like to wander. Her current foster lives on acreage and Gracie accompanies her two dogs outdoors and likes to hang out with her in the garden while she weeds and harvests. We understand Gracie also likes dog-savvy gentle, older kids. Gracie weighs Approx 8 pounds. She is tiny but her puppies grew up to be over 30 pounds. She has fur but is a Hairless Mexican breed, possibly mixed with Jack Russell but folks familiar with her breed say she is a purebred. Gracie is a sweetie and for the right person, she will be a very devoted companion. Gracie is up to date, spayed, and healthy. Gracie has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition for her and her new buddies. To apply to adopt Gracie, she has a $550.00 adoption fee. All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs.
