Maxwell is a very sweet, very smart and easy to train 6-month-old White German Shepherd mix. Maxwell was running loose on the streets form over am week. he disappeared and when he returned a week later he was down to bones and very dirty. When we saw the ad to rescue him, Rompin Paws stepped up to get him into foster care and a vet immediately. It took 3 weeks but we took him from 20 pounds to 33.5 pounds and a healthy, normal weight for a growing puppy.

When Maxwell arrived at our rescue, we sent him over to Best Paw 4ward training to foster and train Maxwell so he would be off to a good start with his new family.  Maxwell is housebroken and learning recall which he is getting down. he is a good listener, trains easily with consistency, and is a very sweet and loving dog. Maxwell loves to cuddle. he has done very well with every human and dog he meets and is gentle with the trainer's young daughter. we estimate Maxwell to be about 50 pounds when grown and we are requesting per our contract that the adopter continues with training either with Chrissy or they hire a personal trainer to continue his work so he will be a good canine citizen.

Maxwell has an adoption fee of $650.00 which does not cover all his expenses but helps us recoup some of his training fees. Monies are recycled to help another dog.

Maxwell is up to date on all vaccines, has been in training./boarding for 3 weeks, and is being fed a Human grade diet. We will educate his adopters in Canine nutrition.  to apply to adopt Maxwell-http://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/
