SCOOBY This boy was found running loose and scared, his owner never came forward to claim him. Scooby seems to have scars on his face consistent with being too close to a fire with sparks flying (maybe fireworks?). We believe he is a German Shepherd X Corgi. This boy is very friendly and trainable. He is a happy boy that loves everyone and gets along well with most other dogs. Scooby does not like dominating dogs though who challenge him in any way. He does have some anxiety from time to time and we are working on that. Scooby loves getting his Scooby snacks in his crate! He is potty trained but it takes him a bit to get in the routine when introduced to a new place. He also may try to dig out so wire fencing should be laid down at the fence line or pavers or another method to keep him from digging out. IE. Scooby cannot be left unattended in the yard. Scooby is a very sweet boy that is one of the happiest dogs we have ever seen! His tail will be awaggin! He just wants someone to love him and spend time with him.
Scooby is a great dog for the right family. He will either keep you entertained for hours and loved like no other. He needs a dog loving person who is around a lot. I.E retired or works from home. he gets grouchy and sad if he is left for hours alone. He is like an "ole Uncle Earl" with making the funniest sounds ever. He snorts, grunts, farts, burps, snores, etc. But he LOVES people and thrives on attention. When you leave though, he needs to be crated (no longer then 4 hours at a time) or safe sunroom, etc. so he will stay out of trouble. He is still insecure and needs confidence building. He is in a foster home now and has improved with his anxiety being alone, but still has a ways to go.
Scooby weighs about 40 pounds, is neutered, all shots and chipped. Not cat friendly.
Scooby has an adoption fee of $650.00 He is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. all fees are recycled to save more dogs
