Thelma and Louise Are bonded sisters rescued from an animal hoarding situation that involved dogs, cats, and farm animals. Both girls were fairly underweight when they were taken in. With good food, medical care, a Raw and Human grade diet, supplements, and love, these two sisters have come so far. The girls are in a fabulous foster home seeking their forever family. They are very shy to start but will come around and want to cuddle close on the couch. They will need very dog savvy/rescue savvy adopters who are willing to work with their fears and show them that they will be safe and loved. The sisters must be adopted and kept together. These girls would do well with someone who understands the Italian Greyhound. Thelma and Louise are being fostered with two small, very sweet, and friendly dogs and they get along well with them. They do not do well with hyper, intense dogs, or large breeds. They need a home that has a spacious fenced-in yard as they love to run and play in the sunshine. Note from their foster: Thelma and Louise are super sweet, energetic, and smart young ladies. Thelma is an outgoing pretty girl who wants attention and expresses her emotions like a small girl. She attaches to you quickly once she understands that you are a good person. Louise is a super mellow and quiet girl who needs a little bit of time to trust you, but once she understands you, she will melt your heart all the time. Once they trust you, they will follow you 24/7. They want to go wherever you go, sit, and sleep next to you. They are eager to please, easy to train, and learn new things quickly. They have learned some basic commands and started walking with a leash so far. They have used pee pads several times but prefer going outside to do their business. They are relatively calm but also love to play and hop around your backyard. They sometimes speak out when they hear unusual noises from outside or see strangers, but never try to bite people. They prefer women over men, but they are fine with men as long as they have calm and gentle temperaments.
