Chewbacca i s from a home with too many dogs and rescuers are working with them to slowly relinquish. Chewbacca is a Yorkshire Terrier-Jack Russell Terrier mix. He is slightly shy to start then warms up. Chewy weighs about 18-20 pounds. He is a very loving boy who was ignored due to so many animals in the home. He tends to be needy and does not want to be left alone in a room, he would rather be in the room you are in. Chewy would do best with someone who works from home, can take him with them where they go and retired folkChewbacca is 1-2 years of age, likes other friendly dogs, can be an only dog but also really likes canine company. He likes to be groomed and his fur requires a daily brushing to stay in good condition. Chewbacca is being fed a Human Grade and Raw food diet. We will educate his adopters in Canine nutrition. Chewbacca will sleep in his crate and use it as a quiet space but does not like being locked inside and we discourage locking him in. he prefers to sleep with his human if possible Chewbacca has an adoption fee of $650.00. he is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. he has been dewormed and treated for parasites. All monies are recycled to save more dogs.
