If you are seeking an adoring, lovable, happy go lucky lap dog, thats Hildy! Hildy is an overweight senior who is on a Human Grade and Raw diet and is slowly losing her weight through exercise, reduced calories and nutritious food. Hildy found herself on the euthanasia list after she was picked up as a stray and no one claimed her. A California rescue who pulls euthanasia listed dogs and finds them rescues who will care for and seek the best homes, pulled Hildy. She is so happy to be alive. Hildy needs to drop 4-5 pounds which is approximately 30 percent of her weight. she can walk a mile and absolutely loves to swim in a pool as long as she is with a human who can be with her every second,. the pool swimming takes the pressure off her joints and provides a huge amount of exercise. Rompin paws Rescue will educate her adopter in Species Specific Diets and canine Nutrition. Hildy is 12 but she is filled with spunk , life and has a puppy like personality. with proper weight loss and good food, she will be with us a long time. Hikldy liikes to have another dog for companionship. we also have her best friend Allen who is a little 6 pound chihuahua mix, very quiet and cuddly.
