BEAU!!

If you are seeking the sweetest, most cuddly little dog and you have 1 or more small breed dogs he can be friends with, this is your guy. (Beau cannot be an only dog)

Beau was relinquished by his humans and he had been abused. his California foster has showed him what love is and he ate it up and it helped him so much. this wee little guy only weighs 6.5 pounds! He will be shy and cautious to start. but in a few hours of holding him, hand feeding him and talking sweetly, he is now following me everywhere. Beau loves to be held, cuddled, talk to and made to feel safe. he is thrilled to be with other dogs his size who are friendly to him som he will do quite well as part of a small pack as long as the other pups are very dog friendly.  its exciting to see that the abuse has not killed his spirit. he will be cautious with strangers so he will need slow introductions... he's just a tiny guy.  he leans toward women more and shys from men, so if there is a man in the home, he will need to be understanding of this.

Beau is on a diet of raw and Human grade dog food. We do educate our adopters in canine nutrition and acine (species) specific foods. we expect him to stay on this high quality food for his health and longevity.

Beau has a neuter appt. on Septemeber 10th and he will receive his microchip that day. he may go home with his matched adopter soon after.  if you love the rat Terrier, dont wait to apply. this boy is a keeper. (dont inquire. If he is listed, beau is available. inquiring about his status could cause you to lose the chance to adopt)
