BOLT

is a 6-year-old Long Haired, Schnauzer-Poodle male. Bolt had been adopted in 2020 and his human died in 2021. This is the second person he has lost to death and he is seeking his true forever family. 

Meet Bolt or Bolty as we like to call him. Bolt will be initially shy and even fearful acting when first meeting his potential adopters. What Bolt really needs is a compassionate dog-loving person who has adopted rescue dogs in the past and understands that they take time and patience for their personalities to blossom and for them to trust their new humans. He can be an only dog, but is not too keen on other dogs and bullies them.

Once Bolt has settled and learns to trust his people, he is an entirely new dog. Bolt is an A + snuggler and the best personal assistant. Bolt is amazing on a leash and loves going on car rides. Bolt is also potty trained and crate trained. He sleeps soundly at night in his crate. He loves playing with his foster siblings who are three times his size. He enjoys long walks and going to the beach. He is extremely loyal and has amazing recall. Bolt does take time to warm up to new people and new dogs but once he does he won’t let you out of his sight. Bolt needs an ADULT ONLY family willing to working with positive reinforcement training to help conquer his fears of strangers. This will be a requirement for his adoption. You can either work with one of our approved trainers or select your own but we will need to approve the trainer you select. He needs a patient and understanding family that will be willing to help him overcome his fear of strangers. Bolt is really such an awesome little dog and his foster family is over the moon with him.

Bolt is on a Human Grade and Raw food diet for his health, weight loss, and longevity. We will educate his adopters in species-specific foods and nutrition so Bolt can stay his healthiest for life. 

Bolt is sweet, independent, and a lap dog. He loves his daily walks and being the center of attention. Bolt is an indoor-only dog. He will not do well being left alone for hours at a time and he should not be locked inside of a crate as it stresses him out.

All Animals are current on Vaccinations, spayed or neutered if age appropriate, microchipped, dewormed, deflea if required, General wellness exams (with health certificates if brought in from out of state).
