BEAR

is a 6-year-old Long Haired-wired hair Dachshund mix boy. Bolt and his brother Bear were relinquished to the rescue from a home with too many animals. Bear would do best with a family who has time for him and can take him for walks to continue to help him lose the excess weight he is carrying. Bear is on a Human Grade and raw food diet for his health, weight loss and longevity. We will educate his adopters in species-specific foods and nutrition so Bolt can stay his healthiest for life.  Bear is sweet cuddle bug and a lap dog. He loves his daily walks, being brushed and being the center of attention. Bear is an indoor-only dog. He does well with other dogs but seems to prefer females over males and will do fine as an only dog. Bear will not do well being left alone for hours at a time so he needs someone who works from home, semi-retired or retired. 

Bear has an adoption fee of $595.00. Please do not write and ask if this dog is available. All Animals are current on Vaccinations, spayed or neutered if age appropriate, microchipped, dewormed, deflea if required, General wellness exams (with health certificates if brought in from out of state).
