REXX

REXX is a sweet 9-month-old Italian Greyhound-Chihuahua puppy. He came to Rompin Paws via a concerned citizen who watched someone dump 4 dogs at a canal in central California and drive away. REXX was the only one of the 4 he was able to catch. 

Rexx is a very outgoing and loving puppy considering what he experienced but every once in a while he will become super timid and you know he is remembering.  We are guessing his age at 9 months. Rexx is super playful and a high-energy boy. He really needs another dog to be buddies with for mentoring, play, and friendship. Rexx gets along with all the dogs here and he adores Kali a black rat terrier mix who has raised puppies and has taken Rexx under her wing. They would also make a beautiful bonded pair if you do not currently have a  dog.  RPR does not adopt puppies as only dogs.

Rexx is too young to neuter. His neuter is covered by his adoption fee and we can schedule him for neuter in late April or early May. This will allow him sufficient hormones to complete the growth cycle so he does not develop deformities in his bones or jaw.  Rexx is being fed a species specific canine diet of Human grade dog food and Raw dog foods. Rompin Paws Rescue will educate the adopter in canine feeding and care.
