GUS (formerly Bobbie) a Chihuahua senior needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Bobbie is a sweet but cautious 8-pound senior chihuahua boy who was rescued from a hoarding situation with 4 other dogs. He has become quite healthy since arriving and now looks forward to being held though still shy. Bobbie will do well with a small breed savvy person who works from home or is retired and has time to spend with Bobbie. He would do very well other dog-friendly dogs as he has only ever been a part of a large pack. But he may do ok as an only dog if his people are around a lot. Once Bobbie gets to know his people he is a sweet lapdog who loves to snuggle close and sleep under the covers at nite. he is big on rolling over on his back for belly scratches. Bobbie is pee pad trained and will go outdoors if accompanied. He is not used to the cold and wet and must be bundled up before going out to potty. Bobbie is being fed a Human Grade-Canine diet.
