BJ is a 12-year-old French Bulldog and Corgi mix. Don't let his age fool you, this boy still has lots of love and life in him. BJ is up to date on his vaccines, neutered, and has had a complete dental. He is being fed a human-grade/raw diet which has brought him to perfect health. We will educate his adopter on diet and nutrition.

BJ and his sister Boots were rescued when his owners passed away from COVID-19. Sadly, they were left in the yard for weeks after their owners died. Family members stopped by to feed them and by the time they arrived in rescue both were pretty traumatized. Boots has been adopted and BJ is cozy in foster care waiting for his perfect furever family.

BJ will be shy to start, once he gets past the decompression stage and learns to trust he is a really cool dog full of personality. BJ will do best in a child-free home and someone who loves to walk. He gets along with the other dogs in the home. BJ is very attracted to the man in his foster home so he may do well with a kind gentleman who has experience in rescue dogs and the decompression stage. He also adores his foster mom who takes him on daily walks.

BJ is playful yet relaxed, loves attention at times and likes to chill back as well. He will not be afraid to let you know when he wants attention. He is a great little walker and really loves adventures of walking and smelling everything.

If you have time, space, and patience to give BJ a warm and loving home for the rest of his years, he will be a loyal companion with loads of personality to keep you smiling every day.
