BRUNO

An adorable, friendly, cuddly, smart, sweet, active, and charming 2-year-old dog:  Bruno is completely house-trained, loves to play, cuddle up close,  nap on a lap , go for walks and hikes, and to make his people laugh with his antics. He bonds quickly to his people and will be a loyal companion  and best friend . He is also very friendly with strangers and loves to meet new people  and dogs . He is quick to learn new skills, very motivated and attentive. He has learned how to "sit" and to use a jingle bell system to ask to go outside, but he can also communicate well with his human using his expressive body language. He is extremely responsive to commands/direction and is almost always wagging his tail. Bruno is a terrific  and happy  little dog with a delightful character and a cuddle - me personality.

Bruno  has  some additional training needs. While he loves walks, he has started to develop some "leash reactivity" and needs a person who is  committed  to work ing  on this with him. He has started   professional training  for this . 

Here ’ s an update from his foster:  “ Bruno is doing great with his training. He ’ s so smart! He has learned to re-direct his attention to his person when he sees another dog and just needs occasional reminders to keep focused.  Now he just needs to keep having positive/calm experiences while on a leash so he can continue to feel relaxed during these encounters.   His a dopters will enjoy walks with  him  if they learn how to follow through with this technique during his transition. "

Rompin Paws will assist with connecting adopters with a professional trainer. 

Bruno  would prefer a home  without other dogs ; he wants to be your best friend and doesn ’ t want to compete for your attention . Bruno likes to be active, so a home with active humans is best. People who have time for a dog, time to train and a commitment to his success will be given the greatest considerations. Bruno is a super sweet, loving, easy to train, and adorable dog who will be very popular.

Bruno has been transitioned to a Raw and Human Grade dog food diet. Rompin Paws will educate adopters in species-specific feeding and care. Bruno is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and has been training with a professional dog trainer.

Bruno has a $650.00 adoption fee

All Animals are current on Vaccinations, spayed or neutered if age appropriate, microchipped, dewormed, deflea if required, General wellness exams (with health certificates if brought in from out of state).
