LILLY is a sweet Basenji Jack Russell mix (designer breed) Of approx 9 months of age. Lilly loves children who are dog-savvy and gentle, compassionate animal lovers. She also needs another young playful dog or to be adopted with her gorgeous sister Lucy . Rompin Paws will not adopt Lilly as an only dog. The rescue will cover her spaying at our vet when she is an adult or will refund a pre-approved portion of the vet bill with proof of spaying at 1 year of age at the adopters' chosen vet. Lilly would make a great long walking trail dog, easy hiking pup, and agility dog. Both girls were relinquished by their owners because they did not spend any time training them and they are so smart and will benefit immensely with professional training. Lilly is a real sweetheart, loves affection, and loves getting close to a child. Lilly had a young girl in her former home and I can see she misses that child a lot. Lilly will make an excellent companion for a dog-savvy child. Lilly is being fed a Human Grade and raw canine-specific diet. Lilly is not as tall as her sister Lucy, she has more of the stature of a Jack Russell and the coat of the JRT too. Lilly, like Lucy, is an all-around beauty with an intelligent mind and soft personality. She will make someone a loyal lifetime companion.
