MALIA If you are seeking a dog who wants to be with you always, go for car rides, sit in your lap and sleep close at nite, that's Malia! Malia is an approximately 7-year-old Yorkie-Poo that was overbred at a homeless encampment in Stockton California. The rescuer enticed the folk to release Malia but they would not release her only surviving puppy. Malia is spayed, has had a dental cleaning with minor extractions, and is up to date on vaccines. Malia has been transitioned to a Canine Specific Human Grade diet and she loves her food! She has lost 4 pounds and is near her perfect weight. Her foster walks her miles a day on a path from her country home to the beaches and fields she borders. Malia loves her long daily walks, it has trimmed her down, given her a lot of energy and she is now such a happy dog. Malia does need to be an ONLY dog. The foster has a cat and a dog and now that Malia has settled in, she pushes these critters aside to be the only one receiving attention. Once she settles in, she will become more aggressive toward other animals in the home, so she must be the ONLY Pet. We are seeking Physically active adopters who work from home or are retired and will continue her diet and exercise regime, love the Yorkie poo breed and will keep her weight down and exercise her, take her on daily adventures, keep her on her healthy diet (we guide you). Malia seems to prefer women,(the homeless camp was filled with men, drugs, and abuse) so a single woman or lesbian couple, ( A Gentle souled man may work, we can take this on a case by case) who live outside the city and have access to trails, beaches, long wooded or field walks will be perfect for this formerly homeless lady retiring from a life of garbage eating and puppy breeding. Malia has a $550.00 adoption fee. All monies are recycled to save more dogs.
