RILEY, Riley is a sweet, loving young-acting senior whose owner relinquished him to us after leaving him outdoors for 10 years. He is so happy to be living indoors and getting a ton of love and affection. He is also sporting his new "Summer Cut" and is ready for summer beach trips Riley is active, happy, and needs an adopter who will give him more exercise by taking him for walks and trimming him down, being active, and taking him on adventures. Riley was left outdoors by his humans. He deserves to be the center of someone's life and to enjoy trips, beach walks, trails, and lap time for the rest of his life. he is not seeking to be a couch potato, he wants to get out there and do stuff with his person! Dasheliers are a "designer breed" that the owners paid a lot of money for when Riley was a puppy. Unfortunately, he became a lawn ornament who had to suffer through ten years of extreme desert weather. Riley is such a loving dog despite being ignored for so long. We are seeking an adopter who is retired or works from home and will have time to love this dog like he has never been loved and show him the life he has never experienced. What we want for Riley is to have a Support Human who will make Riley the center of their life and help him spend his senior years being BFF's with his person, sharing adventures, travel, daily walks, cuddles, and excellent food. What we are not seeking- is a person who will leave him alone all day while they are at work. Riley deserves to LIVE his last years and in the best way and with his greatest love. Riley has been transitioned to a Human Grade, canine-specific diet. He loves his new food!! We expect Riley to stay on this canine-specific diet for his health and longevity. RPR will share how to feed Riley properly so he lives longer and in full health. Riley will be available on July 18th so we have time to be sure he is in the best health. He has been groomed so he will have a puppy summer cut.
