WOLFE

Is a sweet darling, slightly shy, and loveable pup who is being fostered with Two adult German Shepherds. He is thriving in foster care.  Mom is a white Shepherd-Husky with blue eyes, dad is thought to be a Full Dutch Shepherd.

Wolfe is a smart and lovable puppy who has medium-high energy. Because of the working breeds within these dogs, a very active lifestyle including Hiking, long walks on trails, trips to the beach, accompanying someone on working acreage or agriculture will be an excellent match for Wolfe. The working breeds require a lot of physical exercise and mental stimulus to be happy. Wolfe will do best with someone who works from home full or part-time and if he has an adult, dog-friendly medium-large breed dog in the home to be his mentor and friend.

Wolfe is being well socialized with humans and other dogs of different breeds and ages. Enrolling him in doggie daycare is another way to keep your new dog social. Rompin Paws Rescue does not adopt puppies as only dogs UNLESS there is a strong plan in place to keep him well socialized. Wolfe will need a similar medium to large breed dog in the family as a mentor and best fur buddy, or regular trips to a dog training class and doggie daycare, weekend get-togethers with other larger dogs.                                                                       Wolfe has a HIGH Prey drive, so No small animals, no small dogs and no cats!

If you have the time, energy, and willingness to train and care for a working breed puppy and you have one or more, well-trained dogs already in the home to be his buddies, we encourage you to apply to adopt Wolfe.

Wolfe has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition for her and her new buddies.

To apply to adopt Wolfe, he has a $650.00 adoption fee. All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs.
