Sammy

Sammy is a 1.5 years old Jack Russell-Poodle mix. Sammy and her buddy Mia were dropped off at their groomer and never picked up. the owner relinquished them to the groomer. Their groomer foster sent them to Rompin Paws so we could find her a wonderful forever home.

Sammy is a very sweet, cuddly lovebug. she loves to chew on her split deer antler and she is very playful. Toys keep her so happy. she wags her tail incessantly when she sees her person, and loves being the apply of your eye.

Sammy does get mouthy as she was never trained not to use her mouth to play, so she will bite hands when she is in play mode. This can be trained out by using a bone or toy as a diversion and telling her no bite, then petting and praising when she stops. Sammy is very smart, learns quickly, and adores being talked to.

Sammy is not a fan of kids, so she will need a child-free home. Sammy weighs 12 pounds, she gets along with all the small dogs in the rescue so she will do well with other small dogs as her friends. Sammy has a medium-length curly poodle-like coat that will require daily brushing and will need regular bathing to keep maintained.

Sammy has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. All Animals are current on Vaccinations, spayed or neutered if age appropriate, microchipped, dewormed, deflea if required, General wellness exams (with health certificates if brought in from out of state).
