Johnny, a blue Merle Chihuahua

Johnny is a young 8-year-old senior Chihuahua who was used by a puppy mill his entire life for breeding. Johnny was kept in a cage when not with females in heat. By the time he was emancipated from his life of misery he was extremely underweight and a shell from spending his entire life alone, unloved and isolated.

Johnny is a different dog today. he has been receiving a steady diet of love, cuddles, hugs, awesome food and supplements, massages, and sunshine. He is slowly coming out of his shell and recognizing that humans can be nice. he understands he is safe now and he is beginning to seek love and attention.

What does Johnny need in his new forever humans...Experience with shy or neglected dogs, a willingness to be patient and let johnny emerge at a comfortable pace for him. To keep him on the human grade canine specific food we are feeding because they are complete nutrition and will keep him healthy, of doof weight and musculature and he will always feel good. For a empathetic human(s) to take johnny andcontinue to shower him with unconditonallove letting him know he will always be loved and safe.

The photos are not the best. weare working to get better lighting and better pictures. he has come a long way. Johnny has gained weight and muscle. his coat is shinie and soft. he loves to be touched now and will sleep on the bed with his foster. Johnny has 5 foster siblings and seems to enjoy having the company of other dogs
